Google Contacts
Google Contacts is a way to store and organize contact information about the people you communicate with. Each contact can contain basic information like names, email addresses, and phone numbers but can also include extended information like physical address, employer, department, or job title.
Using Google Contacts as a lightweight CRM type app, you can trigger Flow XO flows on:
- New Contact
And the actions you can perform are:
- Add, Update, Get and Delete a Contact
Connecting Your Account
Google Contacts, like all Google apps, is really easy to authenticate - if you're logged into your Google Account, you'll authenticate automatically when you progress through the Flow XO authentication process, or if you're not signed in, there'll just be one additional step to do so. (You'll need a live Google Account to use this service).
FAQ
What fields are supported?
At present we support the most commonly used fields in Google Contacts:
- All name fields
- Home & work email
- Job title & company
- Occupation
- Mobile, home, work & main phone numbers
- Full address
- Birthday
- Profile, blog, work and homepage URL's
- Notes
- Referred By
- Contact Group
It's safe to add contacts manually containing only these fields, and then get or update them through Flow XO. If you update contacts that have fields that we don't support - those fields will be removed on update, so please be careful.

Known Issues
- Updating contacts that have fields that we don't support (see the list above) will cause the unsupported fields to be deleted. So please only update contacts that you're sure only contain the fields above, or contacts that you've created through Flow XO.
