Meetup is the world's largest network of local groups. Meetup makes it easy for anyone to organize a local group or find one of the thousands already meeting up face-to-face. More than 9,000 groups get together in local communities each day, each one with the goal of improving themselves or their communities.
The triggers supported by Flow XO are:
- New Event
- New Event RSVP
- New Group Member
Connecting Your Account
The first time you use Meetup in a flow, you'll be asked to connect your account.
Meetup is authorized in Flow XO through an automatic process - so all you need to do is click 'Authorize', then enter your details in the window that pops up:
Can I trigger on draft events?
No – you can only trigger on events with statuses Upcoming, Past, Proposed, Suggested and Cancelled (or all statuses).

- One of Meetup's unique features - and its strengths - is the fact that it's a closed community of members. The impact on this in terms of flows is that the information you can retrieve about members is sometimes limited - for instance you might be used to using email addresses and telephone numbers in your flows, but these aren't available as outputs from the Meetup triggers. You'll want to use the Meetup app itself to communicate with others in the community.
